Whiteout

This week is all about white from head to toe!…Well, kind of. White is not actually my favorite color to wear. If I have to wear all one color, it would be black. However, I wanted to try something new. I have always felt that white would make me appear bigger than I am, but not this time! I put together this ensemble while shopping at New York & Company, which just so happens to be one of my favorite places to shop. I discovered that high waist anything works for me. So, I decided to wear these white high waist shorts with this white Eva Mendes Collection blazer. I am in love with the blazer because it is super silky and light. 🙂 I decided to go with a nude sandal heel instead of white, to soften the look and not over do it.

It’s All About The Hat!

I was never the type of girl to sign up for hat hair…until I discovered this big beauty at BCBG for $60. This beautiful sun hat is perfect for a backyard event, a tea party with your girlfriends or a family BBQ. This big, flirty hat can be dressed up or down. I wore it with a classic black sheer romper. I loved how the hat was the main accessory of the outfit, and it literally kept the sun completely out of my face. 🙂

Blazers and color blocking are a part of my personal style, so I went ahead and put them together! I’ve been seeing yellow and blue combinations all over the place, and when I found these blue shorts in New York and Company, I immediately thought to mix and match with my yellow blazer. I think these colors are so fun and summery!
