Hi dolls! I just wanted to share my new hair color, and how I got it! I am a fan of lighter hair, and I think it looks 10 times better on me than darker hair. The only thing is that it’s so damaging 😦 I colored m hair with a semi permanent rinse, but it didn’t come out as light as I wanted.. So I decided to get a wig! It’s really for photo shoots. I wouldn’t actually wear it outside as an everyday look but it is so fun to change it up! Eventually I think I will get some color done by a professional, but until then I will try wigs like Kylie to keep my own hair nice and healthy lol. This wig was quite horrifying when I first tried it on, but I left a little bit of my own hair out to make it look more natural!

Okay, so I’m usually a lipstick gal, but since I have all of the Naked palettes from Urban Decay, I decided to try something a little new. On a normal glam day, I like to go kind of neutral with my eyes, but I have really been into soft smoky eyes lately. On my lids, I used a mixture of “virgin” and “half baked”, which are my absolute favorite color from this palette! On the crease, I combined  “hustle” and toasted” to get a soft purple. Under the brow, I used “virgin” and a bit of my Becca highlighter in “moonstone”.  Lashes are KoKo Lahes in “GODDESS”. And Anastasia Beverly Hills dip brow in “dark brown”, on the brows of course!

Okay loves, so this post is to basically show off my new lip bag from the Magic Of The Night collection by MAC. I really wanted to buy every single item from this amazing collection, but I thought I’d be wise and save about $300. Everyone knows how much I adore red lips, so I decided to go with the red lip bag. When I first saw the red lipstick I thought it was Ruby Woo until I actually swatched it. It has blue undertones, but is just a little warmer than Ruby Woo. It’s beautiful! This cute little ensemble comes with a lipstick (pretty irresistible in matte), lip glass (a favourite flame), lip pencil (beet) along with the beautiful bag. The swatches in the picture above are without flash, and with flash.

Just Another Kim K Look

I know it’s been a while. Sorry loves I’ve been a little busy with school and work. But I’m back with just another Kim K look. To achieve this look,  I used my Urban Decay Naked 2 palette, and on the lips Viva Glam I  Rihanna and Cherry lip liner by MAC on the lips. I used my Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Kit in “medium”, Becca highlighter in “moonstone” and mink lashes from Sephora. Oh! and my faux ponytail is from Bellamihair! and yas I love it. 🙂

Teal For Real

Ok..so this post is totally random, but I wanted to try something fun! I guess to me, fun meant dying my hair teal on a complete whim lol. But wait, do not worry because although the dye is completely permanent, It’s not my hair! That’s right, my trusty clip-ins really came in handy! So, to give you a step by step process of this crazy little idea of mine, you will be ale to understand how quick this  was!

1. Went to CVS picked up Ocean Blue, and Sea Green box hair dye from “Splat”.

2.Gathered up some old clip-in extensions of mine and bleached the hair until they turned orange.

3. Made sure they were completely dry, and applied the two colors! I let them sit for about 30 minutes, then rinsed and conditioned them!

4. Added the hair to my own and decided to werrrk.

PS…

My mother completely hated it and was relieved that I did not actually do this to my actually hair.

Also, I am wearing “bittersweet” lip liner from MAC and Anastasia Beverly Hills dip brow in dark brown. 🙂

Hi lovies! So this week’s post is a list of just a few of my favorite scents! I actually mix at least 3 to 4 of them a day.

I have been using Versace Yellow Diamond for about a year now. I received it as a sample from Sephora, and went back to purchase it the next day. It is just that good! It has a citrusy, pear scent that is strong but not overbearing. I never thought I could find something I liked as much, until I started using Versace Bright Crystal Absolu. To me, it’s a bit lighter than yellow diamond. It has a fruitier smell that is amazing! I literally put it on every single day. If I mix the two, I never mix them together.

My next two fav’s are Sexy Little Thing’s by Victoria’s Secret, Noir and Ooh La La. I only bought them because I thought the bottles were just that cute. But like omg they smell so good. They both are very light but last all day, and I always receive compliments when I wear them. I almost always mix these two together.

Not only is MAC like the best thing ever, but they have created my favorite every day fragrance. I am so in love with their Turquatic fragrance. I wear it alone or I mix it with one of my versace’s! Like I will buy this perfume for the rest of my life!!

Sorry guys this has nothing to do with my post…but don’t you love the movie “Bringing down the house?” Omg I love that movie!!! Now back to business…

Hello lovies! Okay, so I want to share some new products with you! From MAC and Sephora of course lol. This time I tried new brands though! I’ve always been a fan of NARS lipsticks, but I’ve never used any of their other products. I completely fell in love when I the nicest lady from Sephora introduced me to their foundation. Soooo in love. But I wanted to try something a little lighter for the days when I don’t need anything heavy. NARS tinted moisturizer is like the best! I wasn’t sure what color to get so I winged it and bought it in Cuba, which is medium 3 with peachy undertones. It’s a bit dark when I use too much, so I literally but a dab on my beauty blender and it matches perfectly!!

Now of course I have to talk about this CC loose powder from MAC. Like it’s the best thing I have ever purchased from MAC. It comes in a couple of different colors. Illuminate (lavender), Neutralize(yellow), Adjust(light salmon) and Recharge(orange). Since I have a medium complexion, I went with neutralize which is perfect for me! I use my MAC116 brush to apply it under my eyes, and dab a little on my nose and my chin. The loose powder is translucent so it looks natural, and gives me an awesome glow.

Lips: It’s very hard to find a beautiful black matte lipstick. But I found it! I’m like obsessed with Limecrime’s Velevetines. I’m wearing black velvet. It goes on like a liquid, but dries completely matte! No need for a lip liner either! J

Rest of the face I used Bobbi Brown foundation stick and Naked 2 Basics J

Last but not least, I took a break from Miss Jessie’s, pillow soft curls, and triple teamed my curls with Shea’s Moisture: retention shampoo, restorative conditioner, and raked through my hair with the smoothie! Curls loved it!

Hello loves! Sorry it’s been a while, but I was out shopping 🙂 lol jk.. I want to share my favorite new foundation that I am totally in love with, and will probably never switch back to my old stuff. I rarely ever wear foundation unless I’m going to church or out somewhere. Most of the time, I’ll wear some bronzer or just one of my thousands of BB creams. I decided to try something new! I have always been a fan of NARS lipsticks, but have never really tried any of their other products. I took a trip to Sephora, and asked picked up two bottles of the NARS sheer matte and sheer glow foundation in Syracuse. The sheer matte finish is amazing. It is very light and literally perfect. The sheer glow finish, is a tad bit darker than the sheer matte, and it really does give a beautiful glowing finish. I love it!! Each bottle was about $45…absolutely worth it!

Hello loves! This week I want to share my favorite neutral colors from MAC. Although a red lip, will always and forever be my favorite..I’ve been loving my new nude/plummy lippies from MAC! On the top, I combined Mac’s Cosmo Lipstick with Whirl lip pencil. I love this combination because it looks different depending on the lighting. It gives me a little bit of a plum undertone and I love it for this time of year! The last two pics are of my favorite nude lipstick from MAC…Velvet Teddy! I’m on my third tube now because I use it so much LOL. I sometimes use it with Stripdown lip pencil, but this time I used it with Spice. 🙂
