Mermaid :)

img_1724img_1725img_1720img_1717Hi lovies!  I wanted to share a quick post about how I made this DIY mermaid outfit for a costume party! The skirt was an old maxi body on dress I bought from express last year and cut it and used my handy glue gun to make it fit like a glove! I used some old tulle and fabric for the fins and glued tons of sparkle flakes and rhinestones onto an old bralette and added real seashells from Michaels! Oh, and Jeff was supposed to be either a pirate or a sailor, he couldn’t decide lol. Happy Holy-ween guys!

Hi dolls! I wanted to share my pictorial on how I created these denim thigh highs. I have seen them all over social media and like fell in love! They took forever but it was so worth it!!

  1. make sure you are using boots you do not wear anymore
  2. also make sure you are using jeans you will not regret ripping up lol
  3. you will need scissors, glue gun, glue sticks and scissors.
  4. if you are using boots that have zippers, it is going to be more difficult..it was for me.
  5. So once your jeans are ripped up, you can glue them on with your own design or however you like! If you make layers, it comes out thicker and to me, it looks better.
  6. I also wanted my boots to come up a bit higher than they already did, so I placed the fabric just above the material of the boot.
  7. then put those bad boys on and become Beyoncé 😉

Hi loves! Sorry for the long wait! Life has been so crazy busy! but I am back with a post for you! So I want to tell you how I accidentally bought this dress off of shoedazzle! So I usually skip the month on my membership when I can’t find that must have shoe, or if getting a new pair of shoes just isn’t in my budget for the month. but, this month I completely forgot to skip, and I was charged $39.95. Since I had the credit, I figured that I would just get something. I came across this dress and fell in love. It is super comfortable and the material is thick, so I will definitely be wearing it this fall…maybe even pair it with a nice leather moto jacket 🙂

Kylie Vibes

Hello dolls! Wearsheis is back with a kardashian/Jenner inspired look! You guys know how much love Kim K’s style, but lately have been feeling her younger sister’s bold and fearless style! I decided to create a look inspired by Kylie’s sugar factory look with this fun mint hair! Recreating this look was quite simple. I did not have a thousand dollars to spend on a wig like she does, so I went to one of my favorite sites in theeee world…Amazon! I got this wig for $50. It is synthetic hair, but for the quality and look it was totally worth it. I wish I could wear green hair everyday!

  • Shoes: Shoedazzle
  • Skirt: BeBe
  • Top: Love Culture
  • I’m wearing Kylie’s Candy K on the lip and lashes are Koko lashes in “Amore”.

Blue SmEYEz

Processed with VSCO with c7 presetIMG_7597.JPGFullSizeRender (63).jpgHello loves, so I am like totally in love with Kylie Jenner’s makeup and the different things she tries! She sometimes wears these gorgeous turquoise contacts when she goes glam. It really brings out the look! So, me being the girl who loves to try new things I figured I would give them a try, and like…..omg I completely fell in love! How cool would it be to have big blue eyes?! It would be pretty sweet, but I love the big glossy brown eyes God gave me! It’s always fun to slay by trying  out different looks.  🙂

Brows: ABH dip brow in dark brown

Lips: Dose Of Colors liquid lipstick in “truffle”

Cheekbones: ABH Glow Kit in “That Glow”

Lashes: KoKo Lashes in “goddess” with Dior It-Lash Mascara

H guys! So okay so one day I was on instagram and I saw this beautiful picture of a woman with freckles. So I decided to head to work foundation free! I did however, enhance my natural freckles a bit. I might have over done it too lol. I do naturally have them, but I used my Anastasiaa Beverly Hills contour kit in deep  to darken some that you can barely see unless you have a magnifying glass. I have a few that are hard to cover with foundation so on most days, I just darken them as beauty marks to finish my glam! I’m wearing NYX liquid lipstick in “beauty mark”, ABH dip brow in dark brown, and mascara are DiorShow Iconic and Dior-Show It Lash both used to get my natural long lashes more volume. 🙂

Hi! My name is Lauren, I’m a junior at Rutgers majoring in Labor Studies and minoring in Human Resource Management! I spend most of my time working as a waitress, but during my free time, I like to do yoga, run, and eat pizza!! I love to travel and if I wasn’t in school right now, I’d probably be backpacking across Europe. After graduation, I want to work in a human resources office.

Featured this month are two beautiful girls who I met at Rutgers. Both ambitious, smart and super sweet! This month we are celebrating women’s history, and I wanted to honor young women who are determined and aspiring to follow their dreams and the path God has for them!
